It's fair time! Join us for the figure 8 race, a demolition derby, UTV rodeo, tuff truck, bump & run, youth livestock shows, the 4-H & FFA Exhibit Hall and a carnival! Please see the livestock schedule for changes in event dates.

2024 Fair Highlights

Parade

Kick off the Miller County Fair by attending the annual parade.  This year the Miller County Fair Parade will be held on Tuesday June 25th!

It will start at the South Elementary School with the line-up beginning at 5:00 pm and ending on 2nd street behind the EHS Gym.  See local 4-H groups, community floats, vintage cars, horse-drawn wagons and much more.  This year's theme is "Derbies, Showin', Sparklin' and goin' to the Miller County Fair".

Carnival

Ready to ride? Fun Time shows will be the carnival for our fair this year.  The carnival will be open Tuesday through Saturday evenings.  Armbands will be available nightly for $30.00 for unlimited riding from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

You can purchase these same armbands for $25.00 each in advance at Gerbes in Eldon, before noon on June 24th.


Little Royalty Contest


The Little Mr. & Miss and the Prince and Princess will be selected on Wednesday night, June 26th, at 6:30 pm at the Eldon High School Performing Arts Center.  Children from Miller and adjoining counties between (and including) the ages of four and seven will be competing for the titles.

Pageant


The Miss Miller County and Miss Miller County Teen Scholarship pageants will be held on Saturday, June 22nd at the Eldon High School Performing Arts Center, beginning at 6:00 pm.  Contestants will compete in: fitness wear or swimwear (Miss only can wear swimsuits), on-stage interview, evening gown & platform presentations, and talent (optional).


Admission is free.  Those in attendance may contribute money towards the candidate of their choice for a People's Choice Award.


Contestants for the Miss Pre Teen Miller County contest should be ages 10-12.  Contestants for the Miss Teen Miller County contest should be between the ages of 13 and 16.  Contestants for the Miss Miller County Queen should be between the ages of 17 and 22.  For a complete schedule of events and requirements, please contact Juillet Beard Zumdome at 816-898-1729.

Youth Livestock Shows


Join area youth as they compete in the 2024 Miller County Fair Livestock Shows! On Tuesday, June 25th, the Bottle Calf Show will start at 5 pm and the Sheep & Goat show will immediately follow.  The Hog Show will be on Wednesday, June26th at 6:30 pm.  The Rabbit and Poultry shows will be on Thursday, June 27th at 9:00 am and the Beef Show will be on Thursday, June 27th at 6:30 pm.  the Livestock Auction will be at 6:30 pm Friday, June 28th in the Show Arena.

4-H/FFA Exhibits


Items created by local 4-H and FFA members will be on display during the week of the fair.  Exhibit Check-In and Judging will be at the Fairgrounds on Sunday, June 23rd from 2:00-4:00 pm.

Demolition Derby


Join us on Saturday night of the fair (June 29th) for the ever popular Demolition Derby starting at 7:00 pm.  Lucky 7's Promotions, LLC will be hosting this event. Please contact Jacob Wood at 573 375-1717 for more information.


Concessions


You'll want to include a stop at the Food Trucks when planning your night at the fair. You can choose a fresh cheeseburger, bratwursts, hot dogs, a cool soft drink or bottle of water and much more.  Best of all, you will find all our concession items featured at great prices.
