It's fair time! Join us for live music, demolition derby,
truck & tractor pull, youth livestock shows and a carnival.
Parade
Kick off the Miller County Fair by attending the annual parade Tuesday evening. The parade will start at the South Elementary School and continue downtown finishing back at where it started. See local 4-H groups, community floats, vintage cars, horse-drawn wagons, and much more. This year's theme is "Kick Up Your Heels" at the Miller County Fair. The Fair Parade Grand Marshalls this year are Flavin and Jean Volmert.

Antique Tractor Show
View vintage tractors from another time. Two local antique tractor clubs the Mid-Mo and Osage River Antique Power Association.
Carnival
Ready to ride? The carnival will be open Tuesday through Saturday evenings. Armbands will be available nightly for $15.00 for unlimited riding from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
Little Royalty Contest
The Little Mr. & Miss and the Prince and Princess will be selected on Wednesday night at 7:00 pm. Children from Miller and the adjoining counties between the ages of three and six will be competing for the titles.
Pageant
The Miss Miller County and Miss Miller County Teen pageant will kick off on Monday night at 7:00 pm for the talent portion. It will take place at the EHS Fine Arts Building. The pageant will conclude on Wednesday night at 8:00 pm at the fairgrounds. For a complete schedule of rehealsal times and events, please contact Angeleic Huth at 816-682-9066.
Youth Livestock Shows
Join the area youth as they compete in the Rabbit, Poultry, Bottle Calf, Dairy, Goat & Sheep Shows on Tuesday night. Wednesday night is the Hog Show followed by the Beef Show on Thursday night.
4-H/FFA Exhibits
Items created by local 4-H and FFA members will be on display Tuesday-Friday nights.
Lion's Club & 4-H Concessions
You'll want to include a stop at the Lion's Club or 4-H concessions stands when planning your night at the fair. You can choose a delicious pork dinner, 1/4 lb. hamburgers, bratwursts, hot dogs, pizza, Frito Lay snacks, a cool soft drink or bottle of water and much more. Best of all, you will find all of our concession items featured at great prices.
Greased Pig Race
The annual Greased Pig Race will be returning to the Miller County Fair after-all. The event was recently removed from the schedule of activities but is now back on the 2011 fair program after securing Donnie Horton Farms as the sponsor. Horton Farms of Tuscumbia will produce the pigs for the chase and will assist in getting them to the fairgrounds. The event will be conducted by members of the Tuscumbia FFA Chapter and their advisor, Colleen Abbott at 6:00 pm in the Livestock Area on the fairgrounds. Participants 18 years old and younger will be divided into five age groups. The winner of each chase will receive the pig they catch as the prize.
