Welcome to the Miller County Fair!


It's fair time! Join us for live music, figure 8 race, a demolition derby, a rodeo, truck & tractor pulls, youth livestock shows, the 4-H & FFA Exhibit Hall and a carnival!

2017 Fair Highlights


Parade

Kick off the Miller County Fair by attending the annual parade. This year the Miller County Fair Parade will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 1st in downtown Eldon!  It will start at the Eldon Career Center with line-up beginning at 9:00 am on 2nd street behind the EHS Gym. The parade will continue downtown and will finish back where it started. See local 4-H groups, community floats, vintage cars, horse-drawn wagons, and much more. This year's theme is "Show-Me The Fun at The Miller County Fair!".

Carnival

Ready to ride?  Fun Time Shows will be the carnival for our fair this year.  The carnival will be open Tuesday through Saturday evenings. Armbands will be available nightly for $20.00 for unlimited riding from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm.  You can purchase these same armbands for $15.00 each in advance at Wood's Supermarket in Eldon.

Little Royalty Contest

The Little Mr. & Miss and the Prince and Princess will be selected on Wednesday night at approximately 8:00 pm at the Fairgrounds following the Lawn & Garden Tractor Pull.  Admission to the Fairgrounds is Free that evening!  Children from Miller and the adjoining counties between (and including) the ages of four and seven will be competing for the titles.

Pageant

The Miss Miller County and Miss Miller County Teen Scholarship pageants will kick off on Thursday, June 29th at 7:00 pm for the on-stage interview, fitness wear, and talent portion. It will take place at the EHS Performing Arts Center.  Personal interviews with the judges will be held at a different time at the Performing Arts Center but will not be open to the public.  The pageant will conclude on Friday (June 30th) at 7:00 pm with formal evening wear and coronation, also at the Performing Arts Center. (Admission is $5.00 for adults 13 and over and $1.00 for 6 – 12 year olds). Contestants for the Miss Teen Miller County contest should be between the ages of 13 and 16. Contestants for the Miss Miller County Queen should be between the ages of 17 and 22. Youth Livestock Shows

Join area youth as they compete in the 2017 Miller County Fair Livestock Shows!  The Bottle Calf Show will be at 5:00pm Tuesday, July 4th. The Sheep and Goat Shows will be held at 4:00pm on Wednesday, July 5th.  The Hog Show will be on Wednesday July 5th at 6:30pm and the Beef Show will be on Thursday, July 6th at 6:30pm.  Friday will be the final day of the livestock competition with the Rabbit and Poultry Shows being held at 9:00am and 11:00am respectively.  The Livestock Auction will be at 6:30 Friday evening in the Show Arena.

4-H/FFA Exhibits

Items created by local 4-H and FFA members will be on display during the week of the fair.  Exhibit Check-In and Judging will be at the Fairgrounds on Sunday, June 25th from 1:00 to 3:00 in the afternoon.

Glory Days Rodeo


The Rodeo will be returning in 2017, after first appearing in the line-up of entertainment last year.  The Glory Days Rodeo Company will be presenting an evening of Barrel Racing and Rough Stock events, including Mutton Bustin, Calf Riding, Buckin Bulls for all age groups, Poles, and of course Barrels. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to see these rodeo events in Eldon!  The action will be in the demo pit on the fairgrounds, beginning at 7:00 pm.  For more information, visit the Glory Days Rodeo Company Facebook page.


Truck & Tractor Pull

The highlight Thursday evening will be the Stock Truck & Tractor Pull at 7:00pm.  Come out to see horsepower put to the test as tractors of all sizes and pickups compete in pulling the sled down the track!


Compact Figure 8 Challenge

Demolition Derby

Join us on the final night of the fair (Saturday) for the ever popular Demolition Derby starting at 7:00 pm.

Lion's Club & 4-H Concessions

You'll want to include a stop at the Lion's Club or 4-H concessions stands when planning your night at the fair.  You can choose a delicious pulled-pork dinner, 1/4 lb. hamburgers, bratwursts, hot dogs, pizza, Frito Lay snacks, a cool soft drink or bottle of water and much more.  Best of all, you will find all of our concession items featured at great prices.
